A home game – away. Lower Austrian companies in the new Europe.

EU enlargement has not only opened completely new perspectives for the Lower Austrian economy, but has also created a new and promising area of activity for ecoplus: internationalization.
Lower Austria is the first Austrian state to have founded business agencies in the new EU member nations: ecoplus International in Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Warsaw and Timisoara. These agencies are the on-site point of contact for Lower Austrian small and medium-sized enterprises which aim to utilize the potential of the new growth markets. "Consultation and backing for success": the motto under which ecoplus International supports companies not only abroad but also in Lower Austria.
As a one-stop shop, ecoplus International assists firms by providing market analyses; assisting in the creation of an individual internationalization road map; and even establishing contact to business partners, providers of financial support, and financing institutions. Years of extensive experience in interregional cooperation and on-site presence in target markets form the basis of ecoplus’ expertise and knowledge – a knowledge Lower Austrian companies can build on. Thus Lower Austrian small and medium-sized businesses have a unique advantage: a home game – away.

EU enlargement offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to Lower Austria, creating new prospects for the province’s businesses at their front door. To capitalize on these opportunities, the province of Lower Austria and ecoplus, together with partners, has taken measures to support Lower Austrian companies in launching into new markets, primarily in Central and Eastern Europe.
