Key Facts: Regional Support & Support Processing
- Each year, around € 29 million in Lower Austria regional support means
- In most recent program periods, incorporation of EU co-financing means of € 18 million (1995-1999) and € 72 million (2000-2006)
- In the current EU program period 2007-2013, an estimated € 47 million
- From the start of the Regional Support Program in 1987 to April 2012, a total of 2,197 projects received support of approximately € 990 million, triggering investments in Lower Austria of around € 2.4 billion
- In 2011 alone, 102 projects with a total investment volume of around € 71 million, and € 45 million in financial support
- In 2011, 19 new projects started within the framework of the Regional Support Program, receiving guidance from ecoplus
- Up until the end of 2011, the Support Processing department at ecoplus had submitted 567 projects with total costs of around € 302 million, of which 544 have been settled, receiving financial support to the tune of € 113 million
- Extension of the Regional Support Periode 2014-2020: Each year, around € 29,06 million in Lower Austria regional support means will be furthermore available.
