Tourism-related infrastructure
The continued development of the tourism sector is of great importance for regional support, whereby special attention is paid to economically and structurally underdeveloped regions. In accordance with our task sharing agreement with the Lower Austrian Department of Tourism, we provide special support to infrastructure projects. For example:
- the extension of the major bike path network to encourage tourism
- winter sports facilities with importance for tourism
- golf courses attractive to tourists
- development of leading companies in the vicinity of tourist magnets
- tourist facilities within national parks and nature parks
- experiential tourism
- cultural attractions
