With the conversion in fall of 2007 to the Bachelor/Master system, the University of Applied Sciences degree program in Biotechnical Processes was made even more flexible and international. This degree program was developed in close collaboration with the IFA and offers students the opportunity to expand and deepen their knowledge of natural products technologies and bioanalytics.

The Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) is a new and well-equipped institute whose campus
is located on 180,000 m2 (around 45 acres) in the scenic Vienna Woods, less than 20 km from Vienna's city center. The IST is dedicated to basic research and graduate education in the natural and mathematical sciences. Upon the initiative of the Viennese experimental physicist Anton Zeilinger, the concept of a "University of Excellence" was drafted where scientists working in the natural sciences and technology-related fields could engage in world-class research.

The University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt for Business, Engineering, Health Studies, Security and Sport is Austria's first university of applied sciences and continues to dedicate itself to ongoing dialogue between education and business. At present, 3,300 students may study in one of 14 Bachelor or 12 Master degree programs offered at the Wiener Neustadt, Tulln and Wieselburg campuses. As of fall 2010, Wiener Neustadt became the one and only institute in Austria to offer a part-time Master degree program in Surface Engineering and Tribology.

The Austrian Marketing University of Applied Science (AMU) offers a combination of marketing and professional sector expertise. Currently, students may select from a Bachelor degree program in Product Marketing & Project Management and a Master program in Product and Innovation Management. As well, there are two additional specialized courses in continuing education: Executive Management and Sales Management.

The RIZ offers a specialized course in Pre-Production Management directed to specialists in product development.  This is an opportunity for further training of the University of Applied Science St. Pölten in cooperation with the RIZ Waidhofen/Ybbs and the Zukunftsakademie Mostviertel.
