Technology in Lower Austria and the Lower Austria Technopol Program
(Krems – Tulln – Wiener Neustadt)

• Over 108 research projects have been initiated and handled since April 2004 by Technopol managers
• Total project volume exceeds €138 million
• 1.800 people, including 1040 researchers work at the Technopols and the Technology Center Wieselburg Land in technological fields and the life sciences
• Approx. 450 researchers are employed at Seibersdorf
• Around 32 high-tech companies have settled at the Technopols since 2004
• 13 infrastructure projects (technology centers and their expansion) have been carried out at the Technopols, with total investment exceeding €70 million 
• Lower Austria's technology centers offer approx. 25,300 m² (approx.30,2588 yards) of ideally equipped office and laboratory space in the cities of Krems, Tulln, Wiener Neustadt and Wieselburg-Land for high-tech firms
